North, you have become an irrational whiner on the board. You have now turned to misrepresenting views. People want up tempo, that doesnt mean we want matador defense.

How many posts have you read where people advocated running...while also playing lousy defense? Your problem is that your fundamentally a Woody butt licker that realizes finally that he sucks.

All season long, the vast majority of Hawksquawk has wanted this team to emulate Phoenix and Golden St. Well, now we're doing it., kinda And we're defending like those 2 teams do too. But we're nowhere as good offensively, so we still lose.

But this is what you guys wanted . . that quick "chuck and duck" style of play. You're the main one always crying about our offense. We played a good offensive game tonight, on the road, and still lost.

It's a damn shame when you shoot over 50% FG and over 60% from 3, and still basically get blown out.

Man you need to get a clue. For most of this season the defense was better than average, even top 10 but the offense sucked ass. Ever since the Bibby trade the defense has gone down the toilet. it has zero to do with the offensive philosophy.

They aren't running any more now than they used to they are just making more 3s.

There could be several contributing factors here. With Blo and Shelden gone that means we have to play Zaza and he can't guard a chair. Bibby has been hobbling so that makes his bad D even worse. Plus Acie has been hurt and he has been our best defender at the point.

The end result is just ugly.

What kills me is that we damn near get a turnover after every timeout we take. And Smoove is one of my fav players but when will he realize they leave him open for a reason.

I could care less about the offense, because no amount of offense is going to be able to overcome consistently poor defense in the long run.

The Hawks will not get any better until they start playing defense. The Hawks haven't played good defense since December.

Have you even watched a game this season? Saying that "Well, now we're doing it" is a border-line braindead comment. We are not playing uptempo by any stretch of the imagination.

Are you kidding me? They aren't running.

Exactly. This team still have no offensive game plan and is now just stinking it up on defense. No plan on both ends of the floor = disaster.

We haven't gone to an uptempo offensive plan. We have gone from no plan offense and a glimmering look of a clue on defense to no plan on offense and no clue on defense. This is the nail in Woodson's coffin.

You're reaching, big time. Calling for a faster pace doesn't equate to calling for the fastest pace possible. The Suns and Warriors are extremes.
