I am trying to get everyone's thoughts on where we go from here with our current head coach now that Billy Knight is gone.

I think the most logical approach to this is to hire the GM first and let the GM decide who to bring in as the head coach.

I would can woody because I can't imagine any GM with half a brain would retain him. The Hawks need better management and better coaching.

I am all for ANY situation that allows Mike Woodson to leave. The only exception would be a situation that brings a college/assistant coach. We have done the Stotts/Kruger/Musselman/Woodson dance for the past damn decade. It is time to take a step up and bring in a PROVEN head coach.

Honestly, I'm for just about every one of the names that are available (I really wanted us to snatch up Adelman last year, but oh well...) Maybe with a new GM, we get someone that understands how we've missed the boat all these years.

The picture isn't about BK. It is about Belkin. As I've said numerous times, when Belkin is gone or in charge of the team the picture will go. Until then, it is a reminder of our dysfunctional ownership and the fact that Belkin was the cause of that breakdown when he tried a hostile takeover during the JJ trade.
