Admin
I'm not sure that's what I heard. I heard them say that Marvin wants to play and that he'll be on the roster. I hope that he can play and make a positive difference for us but I'm skeptical.

DJlaysitup
Marvin and Horford will suit up - that's all the news http://www.ajc.com/hawks/content/sports/ha...age_tab_newstab ESPN just said that Marvin and Horford are out tonight - but that doesn't necessarily make it so I suppose. Admin
They just said on ESPN that JO was out with a concussion so if that's true (and I heard it correctly) then losing Horford is a wash and I expect we'll be able to win this game just as we did in game 4. AtlMoveTheBallMore
We really came out strong with our new look lineup and against an O'Neal-less Heat. Wow are we "goin fishin" or what come Sunday. We have no shot at all Sunday. UNLESS Horford is 100% and Williams is close to it.

Johnnybravo4
Really needed Marvin tonight. Marvin like the rest of the team is too soft.
DrReality
It was ridiculous to think he could come in and contribute, He had not even worked back up to speed from his last injury.
Jackets333
Horford woulda played better on one leg than Marvin.
MaceCase
Horford woulda played better on one leg than Marvin. When it comes to ankle injuries and trying to escape the first round one name comes to mind Grant Hill....so yea Horf should stay nice and comfy on that bench till he's good and ready

LOL_Hawks
You could tell Marvin was still hurt. I appreciate him suiting up, but it would've been better if he stayed in street clothes, honestly. Then again, it's hard to say that when we just got blasted like we did.
Premium Member mrhonline Posted May 2, 2009 Premium Member Report Share Posted May 2, 2009 Doesn't say much for Othello Hunter when Woody would rather played an obviously injured Marvin Williams.
