Joe Johnson is better than any guard on your team. He has the ability to draw the double team and break defenses down.

This is an odd situation.

I do not condone Squawkers going onto other boards and poking fun at other teams. However, it is interesting to see that the Magic posters get so riled up about a Hawks poster on their board that they start to throw out "where were you before"??? Well Magic fans, the simple fact is you don't have Magic fans outside of Orlando. Those that cheer for the Magic in Atlanta are Dwight fans, not Magic fans. So at least our fans go worldwide(really southwide). So neener-neener Hawks rule!

I'm not a mod but don't attack the posters. Boss's comments was pretty tame I don't see where that would be stupid? They do use a lot of gifs over there.

I was surprised how riled up and defensive they are. Maybe we're the same here but i feel like we're much more critical of the Hawks. They act like they have an elite team but they have been stumbling badly this year. They seem to forget that we've beaten them 4 out of 6 so far this year and just want to talk about last years playoffs.

Funny. You say that you are more critical of your team even though I have not seen one person say anything about this team's BIG weaknesses.

I'm talking about things like:

Your offense is basically contested iso jumpshots.

Game 1 was won because of incredible shooting by the Hawks.

Just because you shot bad FG%'s in game 2, doesn't mean you had an off night. With this offense, it is only a sample of what your %'s will consist of, especially against a good defensive team like the magic who made some good adjustments.

The fact that in game 2, you had three lucky last second heaves, a horribly random tip in and you still lost to a team who was unable to hit OPEN jumpshots caused by slump.

See? Now THAT'S being critical. Please imagine those things being said by a Hawks fan because I know you'll just want to brush off the things I have just said because "I'm a magic fan and I have no idea what I'm talking about".

In the magic forum, we haven't got many things to be critical about. When we were panicking after game 1, we had a thread to find out why the Magic was doing poorly and why they lost. We resolved the issues, calmed down and realised that we haven't got much to worry about.

It was proved in game 2 that the Hawks CAN'T shoot lights out every day (even though it looked like it was going to continue in the first quarter), and that the magic CAN win even being on the slump that they are on.

Of course what I wrote is just useless. Being the "critical" fans that you are you will ignore what I have stated and probably call me a troll.

You lost me there. Please feel free to go back and read 90% of the threads on this board over the past 9+ years. This fan base is perhaps more critical of it's team than any fans in basketball are and if you spent any amount of time here you wouldn't have even considered writing something like you did above.

For the record we are all aware of the teams big weaknesses.

It was proved in game 2 that the Hawks CAN'T shoot lights out every day (even though it looked like it was going to continue in the first quarter), and that the magic CAN win even being on the slump that they are on because they'll have the benefit of shooting twice as many FT's as the Hawks and SIGNIFICANTLY above their season average in FT attempts per game.

Answer me this, what's your reasoning behind the Magic getting so many more FT attempts per game in the playoffs this year (33 per game) as they did in the regular season (25.5 per game)? Do you think that's a coincidence or do you think that maybe the refs showed a little favoritism towards the Magic in Orlando?
