PaceRam
Just curious if the Hawks have any interest in Greg Oden. It seems like I have seen rumors on several other teams showing Interest in Oden but not much about the Hawks.
Buzzard
Of course I have interest in Oden but just like Bynum, I would want a all out physical and a workout.
Admin capstone21 Posted July 14, 2013 Admin Report Share Posted July 14, 2013 No, he is to brittle. I would literally only give him the min and he is not going to sign for that
IllestPamfilis
No way man. Might as well sign me up and put me at the 5, and I'm 5-9 160.
Premium Member Vol4ever Posted July 14, 2013 Premium Member Report Share Posted July 14, 2013 Oden is broken and not worth anything IMO.
kerrypack
grant hill was broken also. I'd have to think he's a bad risk, though
DrReality
grant hill was broken also. I'd have to think he's a bad risk, thoughHuge difference I heart of hill and oden and hill was healthy for a while. Oden never has been.
Ruckus
He's only as much of a risk (or less) as Bynum was and everyone wanted Bynum. Oden would be less money. I would at least want him to get an official medical evaluation. A HawkSquawk health report doesn't mean much to me. No offense.
LamarHampton
Didn't want Bynum and don't want Greg 'No Leg' Oden. Ferry doesn't seem like he wants to gamble on major health risks and I agree with the approach.
nitte
I found this online: Former Ohio State forward Deshaun Thomas said he's been working out with ex-Portland center Greg Oden. "Man, he looks unbelievable," he said at the draft combine. "He's running. He's lifting weights. You might be seeing a comeback. He looks like he's ready to go. He's running, getting in shape. I'll tell you one thing. For a big 7-footer that's all he does, running and getting in shape. He's looking right."Thomas said Oden is working out at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Indianapolis. I don't know how credible the source is but I wouldn't give anything more than vet minimum for a year. Edited July 14, 2013 by nitte
Flight
I'd just want to see his asking price
GST
This is one I would take a chance on, as long as the price is right. It sounds as though he has a better attitude than Bynum.

Hes an Ohio State guy. Of course he is going to try and get his alumni brother a job.
