Anyone fans of the show? The new season just started and the first episode just ended. Kenny Powers is back!

They should have let it end last season. It's gotten progressively worse and last night was awful IMO.

I loved the show the first 2.5 seasons though.

My favorite season was the first obviously but I think the first episode was pretty boring until the last 15 minutes. I think it will be a much better season than the 3rd.

I hope so because it was pretty lame until then. I'm just not sure they should have brought it back.

I dunno maybe he will. I always wondered if he's loosely based on John Rocker since I think he had his meltdown in season 1 as a Brave, right? I'm sure they will bring Shaffer back as they need all the comedy they can get. That scene last season when they made Stevie dress up as the maid was maybe the funniest episode of the series for me.

I'm trying to remember the scene. Is that when he said something about doing the next they thing is what we're going to do while Stevie and his wife were watching that porn? And yeah, they say the show creators cited John Rocker attitude as an insperation, and Ashley Shaffer is supposed to be Ric Flair

It's one of those shows that I watch when I come across it, but I rarely make it a point to see it. I think it's cringe inducing hilarity. I agree though, no way Kenny Powers stays rental car model dad for long. The chrome nuts will be back on the stolen truck before long!

So what did y'all think about the series finale? I actually thought it was pretty well done, but it shocked me as I wasn't expecting that to be the season, let alone the series, finale. That was so weird with him going to Africa and having the hover bikes and all that. Then Stevie rubbed Kenny's ashes on his gums like it was coke and I was dying laughing. Unlike the end of season 3 I'm actually sad that the show is going away now and hope they can find a way to bring it back for another season or two.

I loved the finale. I think the show found itself again this season, so it's a shame that it's over. Like you said, I hope it does make a reappearance at some point.

Yeah it really did find itself again. I'm sure we'll see lots of Danny McBride in movies going forward but we might not see much of the actor who plays Stevie anymore and that's a shame as he was great in this role, but I'm not sure I'd like him in any other type of role.

I'll never forget when this scene happened way back in season 1... although it turns out it was a body double :(
