RWF
Trey Burke would be a wonderful pick-up.

marco102
I agree. If all it takes is a second rounder sign me up!

I don't want some yearly rotation of guys on their last legs anymore. No Jack, no Kirk. Get some guys who will actually improve with age alongside Dennis. Premium Member cam1218 Posted June 29, 2016 Premium Member Report Share Posted June 29, 2016 Keep in mind that Utah has Trey Burke but still traded for Shelvin Mack to be their starter. I'll pass on Burke. If Jack is healthy I'd gladly bring him here. Before his injury last year he was averaging 13/7/4 (albeit on a bad team). He would be a good veteran to bring off the bench and he's a GT guy.
Guest
He's not good or seasoned enough to backup Dennis.
ViewsFromTheSquawk
Id actually be fine with Burke. Sure it'd be like having another less polished Dennis, but on the flip side it'd be like having another Dennis! By that I mean he could give you a great game almost any game. Plus it's a 2nd.... RamblinCharger
I think we need to sign Jack or trade for Collison. Collison would pretty much be a perfect fit as a backup that can play 20 minutes a game, or more if needed, and he can score.
BigDog90
I'd love Jack. Dennis needs a vet he can lean on.
Moderators AHF Posted June 30, 2016 Moderators Report Share Posted June 30, 2016 Do you guys not respect Quinn? He benched Burke, traded for Mack to start in front of him, and now wants to give him away. It is because Quinn has assessed the guy and sees him as a detriment to winning. Pass. Admin capstone21 Posted June 30, 2016 Admin Report Share Posted June 30, 2016 Trey Burke is terrible ... A huge bust ... He can't run a team, he can't defend and he is an extremely inconsistent shooter ... He really should be in the dleague or over in Europe ... He doesn't belong in this league
Marvin24Williams
Would rather have jack. Goona need an older, experienced PG. Dennis will most certainly have those horrid stretches where he just turns it over and forces up moronic shots. Need a vet pg that can come in and settle the team down when that happens Edited June 30, 2016 by Marvin24Williams

As @capstone21 so eloquently put, Burke has shown none of the skills y'all are attributing to him. He's lucky to even be in the league. He left his game in Ann Arbor.
