Jordan McRae anybody?

Just saw the Cavs waived Jordan McRae.  Could he be a possibility for the backup PG spot?  Didn't realize he's also a Georgia boy.

I think for the 3rd pg spot they're looking more for a vet guy.  For the backup spot, I'd prefer we get a guy better than DelaneySucks.  I don't think any of these guards getting cut (Burke, McRae, etc.) are even better than him.

I'd prefer the guys returning from injury like Chalmers and Jack.

If we had a need for a backup wing, then I'd be all for bringing in Jordan.  But he's not a point guard.  Not even close.   Jordan Clarkson maybe.  And ya'll don't like the other Jordan, who can play point, so . . .

He can't play point.  He can shoot the ball a lot (but not very well).

Give credit where it's due.  Dude is a pro at using that headband to cover the receding hairline.

ETA: Lebron would give a head nod to him but ... well, ya know.  He don't want the light to hit that bald spot.

I think Mcrae would be a fine addition, a player with upside, different from what we have

I like McCrae's size and skill set from the little I've seen but there's no way he could grasp the team concepts this season.

He's not bad at all. He's just average to below average and good at a couple things. I have no issue with him as a 3rd team PG.

He's a summer league MVP for sure. I actually like his game and I think he will do well when given a chance. I'd take a flyer on him. He's better than Ryan Kelly that's for damn sure.
