rd79
Just now, Thomas said: Moose had decent numbers in Europe in the 2013-14 season as well. Believe it or not he could even rebound (eight boards per) so its not so easy to measure between leagues. Will watch for these guys in SL if they are over here though. http://www.basketball-reference.com/euro/players/mike-muscala-1.html Moose wasn't that bad prospect. He looked quite okay in his 2nd season as a Hawk. But since then he didn't improve. He even declined a bit...

Yeah, for a guy that plays a power position or two and has been in the league four years now you would think he would have hit the weight room more than once. His weakness is he is known for his weakness, he should be a low minute backup only.

For a guy who was borderline being in the NBA to begin with he's doing pretty well.

Bankingitbig
I think some people are going to be surprised by the interest Muscala gets this offseason. His 3P% is one of the best for a Center. His defense isn't close to being as bad as some make it out to be on this forum. He can pass the ball and dribble well enough, while also being able to run the floor.

And he average 17 minutes a game in 70 games not 12/40. Basically, last year he put up 13/7 shooting 42% from 3 in real minutes vs. mostly garbage time his previous years. Just looked up Horford's per 36. 15/7 35% from 3. Moose 13/7 42% from 3. Now Moose isn't half the player Al is by any stretch but the stats are funny. Guest
I take no issue with Moose, I just need an upgrade.
KB21
Muscala was also a 1.0 VORP player this past season. He has improved from a -0.2 VORP as a rookie to 1.0 as a 4th year guy. He's very clearly an above average reserve and is perfectly capable of being a 3rd or 4th big.
CrazyEye
Just an update on those two players, theis got an contract at Boston and Kleber in Dallas. Asi said i liked to see Theis here, let's see how they perform in the NBA and if they get serious playing time or end just as end of the bench guys. Another player from this game, who got an NBA contract this year was Darius Miller (New Orleans).
