Knicks to fire Phil?

Looks like the Knicks finally see that Phil just wants to get fired and get that pay out.   I was hoping the Hawks could get Porzingas out of them before the Knicks Owner came to his senses.

About time ... man he is an embarrassment to GMs ... one good thing for the Knicks is they can finally abandon the Triangle which the GM was enforcing on the coach and team.

Tough to add much more to this.  It has been obvious for years.

So odd that his greatest strength as a coach was managing egos yet as a PBO all he did was alienate egos.

Finally.  All Phil did was heavily boost my opinion of Tex Winter in the wake of his insanity.  Maybe he can try his hand at GM in the Big 3 league.

Phil: "I know I'm still getting paid, but can I still come and crash in the practice facility from time to time?"  

Dolan: "Sure Phil, anytime.  We'll make a big ass ergonomic cot for your back."

Phil: "Make sure it's big enough for me and Jeanie though."
