The Hawks are f***in Nuts if Someone Doesn't get Cut for Jenkins!!!

Now somebody explain the bullshit wit Bud on how game 9 John score 12 pts in 20 minutes and then got all the them DNP after..

Bud put Jenkins in that game and the Hawks lost by 33 points.

They won the prior 4 games and 9 of the next 11 games without him getting a minute.

The Hawks went 60-22 that season and went 13-11 in games in which Jenkins played.

Pretty sure Bud concluded he had better options.

Poor evaluation of Talent is why Bud's ass is on the hotseat! The locals can dress it up all they want but the national media say the owner fired Bud as the gm!

His substitution patterns are horrible! He underutilized Humphries for Muscala.. He waited a year later than he had to in regards to Tim Jr playing time..Which caused us to overpay Bazemore..He cut Taveres for f***in Ryan Kelly?! 

So please don't justify what Bud is doing..He was playing Shelvin Mack and Lamar Patterson over Tim..Y'all no dam well Tim wasn't in that bad of shape when we got him from New York!! He could have produced if allowed to Play!!!

Jenkins hasn't played for us in two years.  His lack of production in that time isn't a Bud issue.  The lack of interest from every team in the league isn't a Bud issue.

The point was he was only played most of his big games over the last few seasons when the better options were unavailable.  In that particular game, he played because Bud thought his better players were struggling and the game was a lost cause so just throw the subs in and let them finish it out.  We know Jenkins did nothing to inspire a comeback so it was just treading water while both teams went through the motions for most of the second half with a 30 point differential.  I.e., extended garbage time.

That link shows he scored in double figures only four times that season, three of those coming in blow-out losses.  What am I missing?

I'm not opposed to keeping Jenkins (just not overly impressed with his NBA resume to date) but what connection do you see there?  

Are you thinking Baze would run more point if Dennis gets suspended and so more backup at the wing would be good?

I think that with Schröder getting in trouble it killed his privilege to have a buddy on the team..so that hurt John..

The hawks Owner say that the team is willing to take a small step back to take a huge step forward..So this kinda play in Schlenk vision of signing and developing Dorsey on a 2yr guaranteed contract...

The hawks desperately want back in the lottery..they  jus wanna win about 35 ball games and miss the playoffs..but if 35 gets us in they wouldn't be too upset..Which is cool..but it was obvious to me that Jenkins is better than Dorsey.. Dorsey has potiental though..He is more athletic and taller than John but isnt halfway the pure shooter..But haters are going to say "well Jenkins went 1-4 in the last preseason game with us" 

But anyone who knows basketball knows Johnny Cash is an NBA player.. He just been caught up in a numbers game..The hawks are fully invested in Bazemore, Bembry, Marco, and Dorsey.. Maybe the Hawks can develop Dorsey into a 45% fg, 40% 3pt guy..But right now his offense is erratic and his defense completely sucks..Every now and then he will  show some flashes and on top of that he is young and cheap..He does look a lot better than this summer which isn't saying very much..

The numbers game that Jenkins has to be worried about right now is total number of slots to be on an NBA roster.  He hasn't made that cut most of the team the last year or so.
