Hawks trade: Evan Turner and Damian Jones

Kings trade: two 2nd round picks, Dewayne Dedmon and Cory Joseph 

Saves Kings money, gives them pieces to get in a three way deal for cap space type that might be available and gets them out of two bad contracts that aren't working for them.

 

For the Hawks, gets us a legit backup PG and we bring our spacing king back in Dedmon. Kings overpaid for him but we still need a starting center who fits what we do.

Hmm.  I don't see the Kings giving up on dedmon this soon but the bigger issue is the Hawks having 25 million tied up in two oldish,average players for 3 more years.  That seems like a panic move.

Here's the good news, Dedmon's 3rd year is only  $1 Million guarantee.

The Kings are starting to play well, so I don't see them trading Ded or Joseph.

Nope. It's unlikely we will make a trade. Teams know the FA class is weak and hardly any bad contracts are out there after this year. Sucks.
