Popular Post sillent
The Grizzlies moved up in the draft taking on slightly less talent to get the #10 pick. With it they used it on a guy whose most likely comparison is Cam Reddish. Zaire Williamson and Cam Reddish size, skillset and college (under) performances are eerily similar. They then flipped a few players ultimately to receive Jarrett Culver who was touted as near as high as DeAndre Hunter when drafted. Especially from some on this board. Teams are starting to take notice of what we're doing. It's a copycat league and people copy winning formulas. I don't expect their pieces to completely show their value from the jump. I also wouldn't be surprised if Grizzlies make a surprise run on the West next year similar to how we did on the East last year. Sneaky good moves on their part. The nba landscape is changing as it always has. Room is being made for the new elite players while the older ones are teaming up to make their last run (Lakers/ Nets)... Sometimes it's hard to see what's right in front of us but if we take a step back we will recognize that a new young league is fully emerging. I'm thankful as a Hawks fan that we are ahead of the curve. It's about to be game on for the new kings of the thrown. Nuggets, Memphis our Hawks and the Hornets look to be in the best positions currently to rule the league in a few yrs. 5
benhillboy
It’s hard not to root for Taylor. He seems to be super smart and has no time for nonsense. He has to get Ja defending better tho, I’m sure he will.

Yup. Pelicans should be in there too but they seem off to me.

sillent
Yeah Pelicans look like they might be on a verge of another rebuild before this one is even over. Chris Paul, AD, Demarcus Cousins, Jrue Holiday, Lonzo Ball... Who do they like and who likes them? I think they gotta figure that out before I can truly believe in them. Hopefully Ingram is that piece.
