It's an issue with effort and also the fact our roster has been missing pieces at various times all year and we have not had a consistent roster to put on the floor.

If OO and Hunter had been healthy all year and playing we probably would not be talking about this.

Despite the fact that we have one guy who has the ball in his hands most of the time we were built as a true team.   Where the total is greater than the sum of parts.   Especially when it comes to D.   Kevin is a much better player next to Bogi.   JC and Capela are formidable together.    One star with the right parts can win a lot.  One star with a random collection of parts not so much.

The Defense at the beginning of the season was fine with Trae in the line up before December giving up a respectable 108 ppg.  During the month of December though, the Hawks average giving up 120 ppg with Trae in the line up. In the 4 game Trae has missed this year the Hawks give up 101 ppg without Young in the line up for what its worth.
