@DieselI've lost all respect for you after seeing the results of the poll.    Goodfellas?  Are you out of your friggen mind?

Goodfellas is arguably the greatest movie ever made and you picked it to go from that group? Seriously?  American Gangster?   How is that even on the list?   That's a nothing burger movie that has no busines being listed amongst film classics like Goodfellas and Scarface.  Casino a small step below those two but still miles ahead of American Gangster.

YOu lost the plot on that one.  I had to go look up American Gangster to see what it even was, that's how forgettable that movie was.

And you say AG should have won 3 Oscars?  well they were nominated for 2 and won zero. And the nominations were minor.  You know who does have an Oscar?  Goodfellas for best Actor was nominated for 5 more including best picture, best director and best actress.

The list of awards won for Goodfellas are too numerous to mention including the 20/20 awards given in hindsight 20 years later when Goodfellas swept every major award including best picture

 

Goodfellas also appears on every list of the top 100 films of all time as far as I've seen.   Variety has it as high as #12.

 

American Gangster is a forgotten afterthought who literally no one talks about when discussing the all time great gangster movies.  I doubt it makes anyone's top 15 gangster movies of all time.  probably not even the top 20.

I have no desire to ever watch Dances with Wolves again.   If it's on and I'm doing nothing, I'm changing the channel.

In basketball terms you're basically trying to argue that George Gervin or Ray Allen was as good as Michael Jordan, Kareen and Lebron.  Now go get your shine box!!

plain grilled cheese, agreed.  But a grilled cheese with bacon or pickles or tomatos and with the bread crusted in parmesan is pretty amazing.  Throw in a bowl of tomato soup and you're walking in God's country.

Yeah it's not bad but pb&j and blt or too classic and delicious to overcome imo.

I second the proclamation.   I'd be interested in an Oreo vs Double Stuff showdown.

I'm old enough to remember when Double Stuff came out and it just convinced me that not only would i see major cookie innovation in my lifetime but i'd definitely be traveling in a jetpack by now.

are you ready for me to blow your mind Mr. Diesel?    If you want to take your Oreo's to the next level here is the pro tip.

Store all Oreo's in the FREEZER.    Frozen Oreo's take Oreo's to a level you didn't know they could reach.  Of course I am talking about double stuff since they are the default Oreo of choice.    Frozen double stuff Oreo's + glass of milk = best combo ever.   When you freeze them it changes the creamy center into something much much better.  Don't ask,it's science.

 

Other pro tip.   Frozen peanut M&M's are about 1000x better than non frozen.
