Why is that we never get a good team on MLK day considering we are the Atlanta Hawks?

Go to the Hawks game to see the Hawks. That should be your top priority. Who we play shouldn't deter you.

But also go to see just how tall Wemby is. Not too many 7-5 guys playing in the league.

For that reason, it ought to be an Atlanta vs Memphis grudge match every year...  Where the mayors of the cities have an ongoing bet... and every year, the winner of the game's city gets the Bronze Martin Luther King Jr. Bust.. to sit in their City Hall.

With the Bust comes a $25000 donation to a nonviolence nonprofit in that city from the owner of the losing team presented at the end of the game.

maybe they want to avoid the optics of celebrating the town where MLK did great work by subjecting a national TV audience to the Hawks doing terrible work?
