Admin capstone21 Posted July 19, 2002 Admin Report Share Posted July 19, 2002 That is an amazingly horrible trade if that happens. Peja is a good player but VC is a franchise player ala Kobe/Tmac. Plus the revenue he brings in with marketing too. That would just ruin this up and coming franchise in my opinion.
Admin
hired the "great one".......what a waste of a talented team. Terrance and Phillip could have coached that team farther last year than he did.
DJ_Money
Dolfan, I've been searching all day, and I can't find a source for that rumor. I believe you, but some others don't. Got one? Toronto is finished if they trade VC. They re-signed A. Davis, Williams, and JYD to keep VC happy and in Toronto. Now, they trade away the only star their fans have ever known? When a poll comes up about who fans want to see in the Dunk Contest, VC always wins, hands down. If they trade VC, the Charlotte Raptors doesn't seem so far out there... Admin
I got that from the trade forum at RealGM........I rarely ever catch Inside the NBA or any other shows with Steven Smith, nor have I heard anything about it, but there have been several posters over there the last 2 days that say they have heard Smith and Aldridge both talk about this trade.
