  1. I would go to young and developing players, not vets. Tyler Zeller, Dedmon, Withey, Muhammad, Tyler Ennis, McDaniels, James Young, Lauvergne, McAdoo, McGee, Troy Williams, Thomas Robinson, Willie Reed, Motiejunas, Len, A. Williams, Ollynk... those are players I would consider signing Dennis/Ennis Bembry/Muhammad Prince/McDaniels Collins/Reed or Thomas Robinson Dedmon/Zeller Decent and you could get a prize and get a valuable player there in Dedmon, Muhammad or Reed....
  2. I have it clear, do not see any talent to compete, no FA at frontcourt to stay competitive, I woud trade Bellinelli, Bazemore, Plumlee for young players or picks and start the young players, I see enough talent on Bembry, Prince and Collins to be special. I would try to sign a young C and give hime the opportunity like Len, Zeller or whoever is left out there.

    Draft Thread

So as I pointed moving from 31 to 41 made us loss our chances on Evans, Bell and Rabb. However Anigbogu and Hartenstein were there and we did not draft them, I think that was a miss, first round potential there. Anyway probably we would have selected other scrub at 31. I am happy with Collins, good value there and completes our young core Cannot understand not taking a chance at Motley or Beachem at 60
  4. Well.... I think Jawun Evans or Swaningan or Patton or Anigbogu are going to be available at 31 and not at 41... And that is going to be a major fail... Assuming Hawks wpuld be smart enough to select them that is a big If... Not having much faith in our new GM after yesterday

    ReDraft 2013

We did great selecting Schröder but we really f***ed the pick on Bebe considering that Dieng and Plumlee were available that were obvious picks instead of Bebe, that was so obvius.... I mean I am not talking about Gobert that was really a great hit by Utah but specially Dieng was ahead of Bebe and considered as ideal selection on most draft boards for Atlanta. That would have work great as Dieng and Horford would have been a really good duo.
  6. So another great game by a big Sf against us, this time was Iguodala, best game of the season for him.... Cap 453
  7. Agreed, he cannot defend big SF at all, aleays has played SG so really not his fault
  8. I don't think he has so bad jumper, defends well, plays with high control, pass very well, I see some of James Harden on him... of course he will not be a great scorer but he has a good feel for the game
  9. Very simple, we were destroyed by a big SF again.... cap 452
  10. I think Mcrae would be a fine addition, a player with upside, different from what we have
  11. Considering what is out there, Chalmers, Terrence Jones, Barnes.... all fill a need and we end with these scrubs... disapointing really disapointing
  12. Brandon Knight is available for a 2nd round pick, we should definately pick him
  13. Of course he is but NO is looking for wing help, that is why trade fits so well with us, you want to unload Baze? you have a partner... you want to send a expiring? You have a partner, they will take Thabo or Baze in a heartbeat.
  14. There are going to be some opportunities there, players that fit our system and we can get them cheap. Terrence Jones, Matt Barnes, Brandon Knight, Tucker, Lou Williams, Galloway, Ajinca.... when you have major holes as backup PG, SF and backup bigs is easy something there you can use We have some expirings we can unload to a rebuilding team as Thabo, Splitter, Scott, some wings that are redundant and we can trade to a team looking for wing help as Bazemore... Muscala could be appealing for some team.... There are opportunities there, just make it happen Hawks!! by the way I am assuming we don not get any big name
  15. I think he could be a great help here, a frontcourt quality player. NO need wing players and he have a overboking there, trade makes sense for both. Thabo for Jones? Or even we could think Bazemore for Jones if they add something?
  16. I think we will draft a big with first round pick Justin Pattin, Tj Leaf, Motley or Adebayo would be great picks The 31 is a great pick, I would go with a SF there and on the oter 2nd rounders try to find a backup PG and a big. Blossomgame, Josh Hart, Nigel Williams, Jawun Evans, Melo Trimble, Dwayne Bacon, Thomas Bryant, Caleb Swanigan, Alec Peters.... are good second round prospects, there are some role players on this years 2nd round, do not waste picks
  17. Could not agree more, this is the point I am making. I would add some games from Baze, I mean he is not so bad, part of the problem is that he is playing out of position although I think THJR is playing better this season, contract season, take that into account
  18. Some misses on draft day just make me sick Hood or Harris were so obvius decissions instead of Payne Same for Dieng instead of Bebe.. I am not talking about missing on Gobert or Jokic or Daymond Green, that was not obvius and were great hits by those teams, but Harris, Hood or Dieng were ranked ahead of this players by nearly every expert... Now we could be Schröder, Baze, Hood, Milsap, Howard Felder, Timmy, Prince, Humph, Dieng.... Better if we do not thunk about it...
  19. We have so many holes.... Backup PG that can provide scoring Starting SF that can score Backup SF Backup C.... Schröder is starting caliber PG Timmy and Baze are below average starting SG Milsap and Howard are starting PF and C, Hump is a decent Backup PF. Other than that I do not see the other pieces fit great on this team... Thabo I agree that has been playing well but I do not like him as a player lacks size and strength to defend most SF and at SG I prefer Timmy and Baze. Of course Bembry and Prince are developing, I wished Prince could demand good minutes at SF but is not the reality now. Bembry is showing some promise and could make Timmy ir Baze expendable, mostly Baze. Someone said we have reached the peak, I don't agree, we lack so many players at some positions that force us to play players out of position and make us underperform. There are some cheap solutions out there that could be signed and never come to this team, players as Ed Davis, Harkless, M Barnes would have been cheap to have and fill holes here, instead of that we will sign other SG, size and strength are major lacks here....
  20. I can understand trying to dump Mozgov but do not think they are interested on trading Lou, he is a bargain at that price and is an important piece of what they are doing today
  21. So let me understand something... Why LA are trading Lou and Nance to get nothing from us?
  22. Well Murray can definately be a cornerstone piece or the future, Nurkic could develop in a starter C, very good potential there. Chandler is definately what we need at SF position. For me this helps more in the future but also a but in the oresent
  23. Completely agree I would give hime 25 min a night, he was supposed to be a good defender with more minutes I don't think he will look so bad, at least he will not get abused
  24. I think the best deal could be in Denver, Murray, Chandler, Nurkic package for Sap, Splitter and Thabo
