Lets face Scott and Mack aren't in the future for the Hawks the only one would be Tavaress and remains to be seen how good he is going to be. We will still have cap space and assets to improve the team.

Now that Deandre has decided to go back to LA, the rumor is that Cuban is going to blow up the team to tank and rebuild. They lose their first round pick to the Celtics if it is not in the top 7, so there is more reason for the team to lose and lose badly. Because Cuban has such a close relationship with Dirk he wants to give him an opportunity to win and send him to a contender. He has a cap friendly contract that is around 10 million a year. The Hawks should make a power move to acquire Dirk. My proposal is as follows: Mavs get: M. Scott W. Taveress S. Mack Minn. 1st round pick Atl. 1st round pick and 2nd round pick Hawks get: D. Nitwozski Why the Mavs do it, they need a point guard and Mack is serviceable to get them by this year. Taverns is a good young C that fills another need for them. M. Scott a serviceable wing. Plus they get the picks that will help them rebuild. Not to mention this won't allow them to be no better than the bottom 7 in the NBA so they keep their own pick. Why the Hawks do it, well that is obvious Dirk fits in with the front line of Milsap and Horford. This gives the Hawks instant contender status. Not that they didn't already have that but the media and the doubters would start changing their tune. Now Dirk has to approve the trade, but I think the Hawks being contenders in the weak east and his friendship with Dennis I think he would approve the trade. By the way I would then use our remaining cap space or mle on Kevin Seraphin. This would give us the bench depth on the front line with Splitter, Muscala and Seraphin. Just thinking out loud. I went and saw Dave Chappelle last night in Orlando (live here). He was funny as hell! He sold out both shows within a half hour. He sold out so quick he added tonight as well (not scheduled). What I'm shocked about is that he is playing Atlanta this weekend and he is having trouble selling out. He is thinking about coming back to Orlando because Atlanta is having trouble selling out. I'm encouraging out Atlantan's to go out and see him. He is still relevant. His material is spot on and up to date. No doubt in my mind if he wanted to he could be in the mainstream with no problem. I just don't think Dave wants the spotlight. I love the guy if you can't already tell by now. I know he may not be Tyler Perry or Kat Williams Atlanta but he is so good you won't regret seeing him. Remember what did the five fingers say to the face? You guys and gals will love the show.

Seems like you are only observing the negative posters on the site. There are plenty positive posters on this site that don't focus on those particular observations.

I love how jalen rose just said the hawks should get out of the first round this year but lose in the second to wash, cle, or chi. I guess haters are going to hate just got to keep proving the doubters wrong. Smh.
