I'm sticking to 20ppg and 12rpg. His scoring will go up as he gets integrated into the offense. Right now, the other Hawks seem to malfunction when they see Dwight deep in the post. It's like they know they should give him the ball but there's been too many times that I've seen them jacking up poor shots or driving into the paint and turning the ball over trying to make a last second pass to Dwight. Just feed the post and spread the floor. Don't make the game harder.

Side note: When do we officially say that Dwight is pretty much the same dominant presence he was back in Orlando? Is it too early? I noticed that nobody is really posting the fact that this guy has been an absolute beast so far.

Lou Williams is a deadly offensive player off the bench. Always has been. I wish the Hawks had shown some patience after his injury and at least got more for him if they weren't going to keep him.

He will be just fine. He's going to be a lot more involved in the offense with the Hawks than he was with the Lakers or Rockets and he's on a team and in a city where he is appreciated. The Hawks will win plenty of games so I don't see where he will have a problem.

Watching the game last night, I noticed how loud the crowd was too. Let's just hope the loudness of the arena wasn't 'artificial', if you know what I mean. My Falcons fans know what I'm talking about.

Who or what says we would have to max him next year? This all seems based on assumptions of performance and health. We haven't even played the first game of the season. What if this doesn't work out for some reason? Yes it's insanity.

But you do have to admit that Bembry and Prince do have more talent. The mentality they have is just icing on the cake. I will say that Patterson was a gamer, but he just seemed limited athletically. I was surprised to see Holiday in New York's rotation last night.

We need to go get Archie Goodwin. If Bud thought enough of THJr to trade a 1st for him, he should really like Goodwin's potential. Archie hurt himself by leaving school too early, but the kid has skills that could help the Hawks offensively.

Trade Sap if it's obvious he won't re-sign here. Aldridge would be a great get to be honest. I love Sap, but I don't want this team to get left holding the bag like they did when Horford bolted.

Exactly. We needed a true SF so we drafted one. If he's capable of contributing right away, which I think he is, there's absolutely no reason to not have him in the rotation.

Agreed. I have no patience left for players who aren't reliable due to constant injuries. I'm also starting to lose patience for players who are always 'a year away from being a year away'. At a certain point either you're going to contribute or you're not.

We gotta get rid of this $8 million albatross. He's damaged goods. I loved the trade at first, but he's looking more and more like Craig 'Speedy' Claxton 2.0.
