KB21
That's why he is such a great player. He can effect the game in other ways when his shot isn't on.

Plainview1981
I think Daiw has a couple this season.. Oh yeah, he only is paid a small price of what JJ is paid.

Nicholasp27
of course the recap doesn't even mention jj's triple double...al is mentioned cause he got the most points on our team http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/recap;_ylt=Amf...?gid=2006020130

But a coach should know how to use players and get the best out of them. It's their job for christ sakes.
WraithSentinel
Just going around the net. Last night everyone was praising Diaw as a God. Saying great things about his TD. JJ get a TD. Everyone is trying to diminish it.

All JJ really does better than Diaw is score.... And considering what was given up for him, those points don't make up the difference.
Popeye
Please, dont compare Diaw to JJ, yes JJ is more expensive but he is a much better player then Diaw. GO JJ!!!
Admin capstone21 Posted February 2, 2006 Admin Report Share Posted February 2, 2006 If I played for Phx I would average double figures too.
TheDude
didn't the towel boy get in the end of a game and throw 10 down quick...nash out there dishing assists to frankie munoz....YOU GO MUNOZ!!...i'm getting me a jersey..
Plainview1981
No he isn't. All he does is score more... He's not as good of a passer or rebounder. JJ might have a high assist total, but that's more cause the Hawks don't have a PG. When you factor everything in, he isn't THAT much better. Seano
Congrats to JJ, and may this just be the first of many to come.
RMJ
Diaw rebound stats are better because phoenix use him at the 4 which allows him to play closer to the basket. JJ is a much better player than Diaw. JJ proved he could be a good player on a great and terrible team. No one would know who Diaw was if he was playing for a very bad team. He's a decent role player nothing more nothing less.
Plainview1981
So basically you're using the fact that he can play the 4 effectively againest him? That sure makes for a stronger cause Nobody really knew who Joe Johnson was in Boston or his first year in PHX either.
