I had a hernia as a kid. Totally unrelated to lifting or anything. There are a couple of kinds. If it's like mine was, and I think it was, he'll be fine.

is an act of desperation on the Hawks' part. it shows they are still scratching and clawing. I have to give them respect for that.

I'm no doctor but I think playing in a competitive basketball game two weeks after hernia surgery is probably pretty stupid. don't hold me to that.

...has to sit out after this one like Lue did following his return from groin injury. The general after-effects I've heard discussed, like swelling in and hypertrophy of the groin, should scare most any man into inactivity.

This is a totally different team from the last few weeks. The ball movement on offense and aggressiveness could not be more different. Why don't we always move the ball like this?
