Great news for "the kid" and wish him luck, but this IS a hawk fan forum and frankly we need people in the Hawk organization that don't make apologies for its HORRIBLE performance. If only JDU... had some I could be happy for him AND the Hawks.

If you think the Hawks are a horrible franchise in dire straits, that's fine. The point is that only a lowly human being would want to rain on an obviously happy kid's parade by calling him out for not agreeing with your glass is half empty outlook. It really shows the kind of person you are.

It'd be very interesting to hear about what actually goes on within the Hawks organization from someone on the inside...as in, are they really as incompetent and dysfunctional as they appear to be from the outside? Not that I'd expect that information from you, jdu00743. On an internship like that, you've obviously got to mind your p's and q's, and after all- those guys will be your 'bosses' (assuming you get the gig).

And Walter, why don't you lay off the guy? What do you expect him to say? Do you really expect him to start trashing the organization or its management, knowing at least one of the owners reads here, all the while hoping to land an internship with that team? I mean let's be realistic, is that what you would do? I kind of doubt it, unless you were content with the possibility of just pissing that internship away, all because of a few words on a message board.
