were booing him early in the game but started cheering

for him late.He's been very impressive.He's still putting

up the numbers without Shaq.

I havent heard him say one good thing about Kobe and this amazing run he is on. I guess he decided that he wanted to end the who is better debate between him and T-Mac. around but I think its is clear that Kobe is the best offensive player in the game right now. That guy can flat out put the ball in the hole. He is on this ridiculous tear and he's shooting around 50% whether Shaq plays or not. That is amazing. He not only faced double teams against HOU and UT, he was TRIPLE teamed at times. I love T Mac, TD and KG but if I were building a franchise right now, Kobe would be my first pick.

assists, rebounds, FG%, 3pt%. Actually, T-mac scores .2 ppg more than Kobe does. But otherwise, Kobe has the superior lines. I also think he plays better defense. Charles, Kenny and EJ also seem to agree with that. They've weighed in on this debate a few times themselves and they always say that until T-mac plays great D consistantly, Kobe wins.

The eastern teams play better defense.

Detroit, Indy, Philly, Miami, New Jersey

San Antonio, Dallas, Sacramento, Phoenix, Utah.

Go off and compare defenses. FG% and PPG.. Who has the better defensive teams... East or West. I would say the East easily. I mean, it has been the montra of Dallas and Sacramento that they will outscore their opponents.

So if McGrady is playing Eastern competition, his stats are less bloated than if he played against the West primarily.

He's selfish. He's a jerk. He plays with a monster on his team.

These comparisons to Jordan are ignorant. Kobe isn't half of the player Jordan was when Jordan was his age.
