Summer League

Where are we playing Summer League? I just looked on Nba.com and it didnt have us as one of the teams listed that is playin in Vegas. Am I missing something here?

I'd assume the team is playing in the Rocky Mountain Revue again. That's not in Vegas.

Hawks typically play in the Rocky Mountain Revue later in the summer (I think in late July). Competition is not as good as Las Vegas, I'm guessing it must be cheaper to play in RMR than Vegas.

the Bulls will have Tyrus and Noah. everyone else will be weak.

I wonder who the players will be to round out the Hawks roster.

It's only Summer League but our frontcourt (our regular season rotation minus Zaza/Smoove should dominate).

Summer league is a guard's league.

Expect Law to do really well (definately a MVP possibility).

But it wont be the best showcase for Horford, Shelden and Soloman (although hopefully we can begin to see who is better at what and how much and where people should play).

atleast from the Hawks perspective because of BK's refusal to spend draft capitol on a Point.

this year I think the front line of Shelden, Horford, and Solomon will be dominant.

FWIW I want to see all of them play the 5 equally to see what we have.

I don't want to see anyone else at the 4 or 5. play them in different combinations to see where they stack up.

that won't happen though as that's 32 MPG a piece which is a little high.

Noah isn't playing in the Summer League games - he has a rotator cuff injury he is rehabbing.

Most likely frontcourt will be Thabo, TT, & Gray
