SmooveTheFuture
Why arent they going to Smith in the post he was pretty good in the 1st half and he is getting no touches in the 2nd half bad coaching.
Admin
Probably because he keeps trying to do too much and turning it over. How many times do you think the coaching staff has yelled at him tonight to shoot the ball when he has it inside instead of passing it? Joe is the only player that is playing consistently well for us tonight. Everyone else has been erratic at best.
Admin
He looks awful shooting the ball all night and just when you can't stand to see him take yet another 3 he goes and knocks down 2 in a row ... and now JJ, here we come!!

Admin
passing up that wide open jumper when he desperately wanted to take it and found an open Childress for the bucket. Great sign of maturity on that play by Smoove.
thefloydian
Followed up by yet another 3 point attempt.
D.R.P.
Why oh why must Josh Smith line up behind the 3 point line?

Then he turns around and launches an ill-advised jumper instead of finding a hot Joe Johnson the very next time they had the ball on offense
Kimsey
Match up so well with them, damn shame we can't move to the six seed...
Admin
He didn't have any choice on that one though since the shot clock was going off just as he shot it. Then he gets the great block on the jumper and meets Howard at the rim on the next play. Thank God we calmed down in the 4th quarter and started hitting our shots. thefloydian
Oh, I didn't notice the shot clock. I thought he was just "feelin' it."
TheTruth
Yes, AND we only had a couple TOs in the 4th thank God. Also, our offense came out blazing with everyone stepping up to hit shots and make plays (Bibby, JJ, Horfy). We also limited the Howard offensively. D.R.P.
Great game by JJ! He's been a much better player since the Bibby trade.
Admin
Horford with 2 HUGE offensive rebounds late in the 4th to get us another 24 seconds and another shot at scoring. So what does this make us with Bibby? 9-11?

LOL_Hawks
Win. And even better since New Jersey lost. Nice win for the Hawks tonight, and they actually got a standing ovation from the crowd. You rarely ever see a Philips Arena crowd like that. Also, way for them to somehow overcome the turnovers and pull out a W. Especially with a big 4th quarter. I guess they finally realized that you should play AT LEAST more than 2 quarters in order to win a game.

Admin
We are 5 games behind Toronto for the 6th and 4 games behind Philly for the 7th seed. It's a stretch to think that we can catch Philly with the way they are playing but who knows if we somehow take both games against them we have a shot and Toronto is definitely slipping with Bosh being hurt maybe it will take them a bit to get it going again. jhay610
I'm pretty sure there was 7 on the clock when that went up, but maybe not...I thought the play where he gave up the J and found Chillz, and then got the block on the jumper after some exceptional team D were key possessions. If we defended like we did on that trip for 48 minutes we would win a lot of games. Way to grind out a tough win when u played poorly for most of 3 quarters. Zaza, kill ya self. TheTruth
And so has Horford. They both played like All Stars tonight. Bibby also had a few clutch shots.
