It could work if Woody subs pattens are the same as last season.

Marvin goes out at about the 6 minute mark, and Evans comes in and plays sg .

JJ moves to sf and plays the entire first quarter.

Then, at the start of the second quarter JJ sits, and we bring Marvin back.

Or JJ and Marvin can both rest while we use this line up.

It is most logical to believe Joe will be a SF in the league. Moving Marvin for a Starting SG is the best solution. Can you imagine a Redd at SG and Joe at SF?

Offensively he isn't a guard because he doesn't have the handles, defensively he is too short to handle the really big SFs but at a burly 6'5 he can handle most of them. I think that when he is on the floor he'll guard the best wing player under 6'8.

Trading for VC isn't a bad idea at all but Bibby would have to be included. VC makes 14.7, 16.1 and 17.5 over the next 3 years.

Bibby + Marvin for VC + filler is a good deal in my book.
