thefloydian
I was just reading his web site and saw this: David Andersen has signed 3-year contract with Barcelona. David was weighing up options for NBA with Atlanta this year as he was looking forward to the challenge of heading to the NBA, unfortunately with New management coming into the team and the task of re-signing some stars the timing was bad and David had to put things on hold. "It was disappointing how things fell through with Atlanta this year, hopefully things will work out in the future." David said. He's still pretty young. It'd be nice to sign him next year if it's possible.

I think it was a luxury tax issue. If they had resigned Childress it probably would have put them right at the luxury tax threshold. We need bigs and he sounds like he can play so i hope they bring him over. I dont see why we wouldn't. he is probably better than any free agent big we could reasonably sign. Could you post the link to his site?
Premium Member mrhonline Posted January 9, 2009 Premium Member Report Share Posted January 9, 2009 Depends on the price and what happens to Zaza. He'd be a terrific backup PF if not too expensive. His per40 (pace adjusted) stats according to draftexpress.com: 21.2 pts, 9.9 rebs, 52.4 FG%, 40.0 3pt %, 76.5 FT%
