Making judgements based on an injury plagued season."

It's very clear to see the guy doesn't have any speed...

Dan is a crummy a cheesy as his lame song. He was

just a college player. Of course people look for the next

great white player and it isn't going to happen because

white guys have no place in basketball.

Let's analyze your statement, shall we?

"You act like 17.5PPG is some kind of huge production"

For a point guard, it is. Stockton best PPG was 17.2.

"He doesn't have NBA talent"

Well, Doug Flutie was too small and untalented for the NFL. He's sure been around and playing well for a while.

"You rant on and on about meaningless game againest the Warriors."

I think he's brought it up once during this argument.

"Shows how little of a case you have."

You have yet to bring anything to the table except, "he's a great white hope scrub." Used it in two consecutive posts. Real clever.

You mean the guy that struggled(and lost) a QB battle

with Rob Johnson? You mean the guy that played in the

CFL all those years? You mean the guy that is buried on

the Chargers bench?

Hew also used to average double figure assist... And he's

the alltime steals leader. Nash isn't close to either.

1) He was drafted by Pete Babcock. That alone is enough

to put doubt in someones mind.

2)He might have went undrafted had it not been for the

Hawks.

3)He showed nothing last year

4)He's small and got slow feet

5)He struggled to get his shot off.

6)His best games where in meaningless games

He isn't any worse than Jacque Vaughn who has no

place in the league either. Heck, he's not even young!

But when Dan Dickau is getting big minutes on a team

you know that team has no future.

I've always said it... There are exceptions to every rule.

However, I seen nothing in Dan to lead me to believe he's

an exception.

I thinking more of Dan as a Bobby Hurley. Or more of a

bad defending Brevin Knight. Or [censored], at best... I think

he'll be Jacque Vaughn with maybe alittle better shot.

The fact that he is suppose to be the future is very

bad. Ditto with 3PPG Boris Diaw.

If Dan Dickau is our future, then it's a bleak one indeed.

I know the similarity between Nash's rookie stats and Dickau's, but beyond that why you insist on comparing the two is beyond me.

Well, they both have bad hair.

Dickau is terrible on defense, has a LOT of trouble bringing the ball up against a press, is extremely turnover prone, and might possibly be the slowest man in the NBA.

Referees are faster than he is.

If we don't resign JT and we depend on DD for our future, we might as well try to transfer the Hawks to the NBDL.

If we want to go the white point guard route I'd rather have Jason Williams than DD at this point. I'm not hating on DD but I just haven't seen much from him. I was also at the game in Oakland and DD did not blow by Arenas on every play. If anything he launched a couple of threes and had a hard time penetrating.

And that's bunk.

Dickau has no trouble bringing the ball up the court at all. He showed last year when he got time what he could do. Against Dallas, he got 32 minutes and piled up 10 assists. Against Golden State, he scored 16 points and got to the goal at will. EMuss stated that they couldn't stop him from getting to the goal.

The reason I compare Dickau to Nash is because they are the exact same player. They are comparable athletically, as shooters, as ball handlers, and in their leadership ability as well as their court vision.

It's not depressing at all to me. I hate to lose JT, but there's no one I'd rather see take his place than Dan Dickau, unless it was Luke Ridnour.

Dickau was great during the summer league. He shot [censored] near 50% from three point land and had a 2 to 1 assist to turnover ratio. The more experience he gets, the higher that assist to turnover ratio will get.

It may take a couple of years for him to start putting up the numbers Nash puts up today, but I guarantee it will happen.

Does Dirk Nowitzki have a place in basketball? I think pretty much every team in the league would like to have him. What about any of the European players? I may be wrong, but isn't every team looking for the next great European player? But, I guess you would say they aren't the kind of white people you were talking about.
