gobucks
But you have to blame Smoove just as much. He was a no show tonight and some of his decisions with the ball were beyond moronic. No Sothron. You Hawks fans should blame the people like you. You explicitely stated that the Bucks had no chance at winning this series after they were down 2-0 and you said that the series was over. This is the playoffs, buddy, you play hard D and anything can happen. In the NBA, once you get too comfortable you will lose (i.e. Lakers). The Bucks are better than the Hawks in every category besides raw talen (bball IQ, Defense, heart, hustle, coaching). Hawks fans tonight were nothing compared to the Bucks fans at the Bradley Center in games 3 and 4. It will be even crazier in game 6. This series is not done, but if the Bucks can use the crowd and continue to play with heart, the series is theirs. All the news sources said we would finish second last in the Eastern Conference. They said we were nothing without Bogut and Redd and we would lose to youy guys in 4 or 5 games. They were wrong. FEAR THE DEER
Joker
Wow, Josh Smith as usual had nothing to do with anything tonight because off course he is the 'MVP" of the damn team. But hell, we all know the truth, the hawks made their run when Josh was out of the game. Seriously, I want to see Smoove 4th qt stats for this season as well as for the playoffs. D.R.P.
This team doesn't need to rebuild. What this team needs is an NBA caliber coach, that actually uses a point guard on offense.
Gray Mule
Welcome to OldTimeHawk. Meltdown. Again. We've seen this too many times for it to be an accident. That's just who we are. Makes one sick @ their stomach, doesn't it. No one knows, apparently, how to stop these big scoring 4th quarters by our opponents, regardless of who they are. And, sadly, we know that no one knows how to score for the Hawks in the second half of any 4th quarter. Was this the death toll for Woody? Probably. How can the Hawks think of bringing him back after this? It's not all his fault. But, enough of the blame has to fall on him - - Too much for him to survive. Some might even say that it's worth losing like this just to be rid of Woody. :help wanted3:
Kimsey
Order of blame goes like this: 1. Crawful 2. Average Joe 3.Bimbo 4. Joke JS took a terrible 3 but they did get the ball back and bricked nonetheless. JJ had like 3-4 turnovers/bricks back to back down the stretch that killed the lead. The coach is the central figure who doles out playing time , teaches , enforces , motivates. I spent the last couple of years watching him wear out the starters for a few more wins , never developing a bench , and running the offense through Joe J . to a point that others have never developed their offensive games . Once Joe was gone , the Hawks were done , mostly from the " what the hell do we do now attitude " than the lack of ability . It would have been nice during the season to see others that may have the hot hand during a game continue being pumped the ball. I think Woody did the best he is capable of doing , but its either time to let a more experienced coach take over ( which I think will get immediate results ) , or keep Woody and blow it up ( which is crazy because we have crazy talent on this roster ) . Dexmethylphenidate
It's unfortunate for Joe to have a game like this when he was balling the previous four. Although he made many mistakes down the stretch, you can see how the Hawks miss him in the clutch when he fouls out.
OldTimeHawk
They miss him because the offense has been ran exclusively through him for the last 5 years . Kind of hard to have someone be the court leader when the offense is basically give Joe the ball . It seems like he has to have the worst shooting percentage of any of the " superstars" plus he gets absolutely no four calls.

hieppie
Went to the game. Even with the Ref bad calls we could've still win the game if Al and Josh do their job and rebound the ball. Love Al's offensive game tonight but he could've prevented Ilyasova from getting them offensive rebounds near the end of the game. Woody is right that Hawks played like they were up by 20 when they're up only by 9. but forget Woody, he's only good for first 3 quarters, we should let his Assistant coach 4th quarters from now on. Once JJ fouled out all the momentum was to the Bucks, to make it even worse it took away a huge three pointer from JC. I think you mistaken not giving blame to JS but Craw and JJ killed the lead.
