Sorry, but young ladies cavorting with ACC athletes in bathrooms have at least temporarily lost credibility, especially those with no physical evidence.

The student returned to North Carolina and didn't tell anyone until two days later. She told a friend, who insisted she report it to Wake Forest campus police. Detective James Rae of the Wake Forest Campus Police did an investigation and forwarded statements he got from Teague, Clark and another man to the Miami Police Department, the report said.

After the investigation was completed, the police consulted with prosecutor Laura Adams in June 2009.Adams eventually decided against filing criminal charges because there was no physical evidence and corroborating witnesses, the student didn't report the allegations immediately to police, and Clark denied the allegations, according to the police report.

Big story that's not getting much talk around here.

NBC's "Today Show" will be airing a segment Thursday morning that will feature a former student who alleged that two former basketball players at the school sexually assaulted her.

This is not good for the Hawks public relations dept.

The report of the incident makes no sense. Reportedly the girl liked Teague yet Clark was the one she ended up with in the bathroom. Moreover, if the girl was so distraught why let Jeff walk you back to the hotel room?

You know, reading is fundamental. I foolishly watched the entirety of the Today show this morning, even Kathie Lee and that Hooda Kblobtb lady, and thought NBC tabled the story before figuring out "Today" is "Tomorrow." Oh well, I got some great Martha Stewart cooking tips out of it.

For NBC News' sake, they'd really better have something major here. After over two years to get her story straight, Miss Thang better have unearthed some previously unknown audio/video with content that would make Caligula blush. Short of that, she and the network are contributing only to the detriment of true victims of sexual, physical, and emotional abuse... the ones who employ the legal system, and not the media, for redress. Waving physical "evidence" in front of TV cameras 26 months later, by itself, isn't going to cut it. Some miffed ex-groupie protesting through crocodile tears, "I only wanted to be held!" is the farthest thing from newsworthiness.

If Teague and Clark elect to get a lawyer, Ms. Hurt will be presented with a fairly clear defamation suit. NBC may, too.

The Indiana U. story that they spent half as much time on had way more credibility (dude with the Myspace page... not a good look). Yet NBC News knows they need at least two stories to make "Hide Your Daughters - Collegiate Edition" look like some kind of an epidemic. Enter Ms. Hurt.

I'm not looking to belittle the seriousness of sexual assault cases on college campuses. I have no doubts it goes on a lot. But NBC, these TWO were the most legitimate cases you could find, really?

I was reading around and mostly everyone said how she was a known ho around school, she pleasured plenty of dudes not including her boyfriend who she had sex with in a bathroom hours before this incident occured.

I hope Jeff and Clark sue her, she basically made them look like monsters when the evidence proves otherwise. True or not she has ruined their lives, and is gonna make things harder for REAL victims of sexual abuse.
