Moderators AHF Posted August 5, 2013 Author Moderators Report Share Posted August 5, 2013 Now that we are wrapping up, I am going to do another review of my team to see where they are viewed today: So this is how the 2012 team looks today through the lens of the 2013 draft with the round and pick they were drafted by me last year: #2013 Pick - Name - (2012 Round, #2012 Pick) First Round 1-18 (2013)#7 Dwight Howard (1, #6) Second Round 19-36 (2013)#27 Tony Parker (2, #28) Third Round 37-54 (2013)#47 Jeff Green (12, #188)#51 Andre Iguodala (3, #37) Fourth Round 55-72 (2013)#57 Bradley Beal (5, #69) Fifth Round 73-90 (2013)#80 Kevin Martin (6, #92)#85 Eric Bledsoe (9, #133) Sixth Round 91-108 (2013)#102 Kevin Garnett (4, #60) Seventh Round 109-126 (2013)#115 Enes Kanter (8, #124)#125 Carlos Boozer (7, #101) Eight Round 127-144 (2013)None Ninth Round 146-163 (2013)#157 Chris Kaman (11, #165)#158 Dion Waiters (13, #197) Tenth Round, Eleventh Round, Twelfth Round, Thirteenth Round, Fourteen Round (2013)None Undrafted (2013)Rodney Stuckey (10, #156) * * * * * Bottomline is that most of my team increased in value. While my entire team from last year (other than Stuckey) was drafted by the 9th round, I think the # of picks is more significant because we had more participants this season so you expect people to rise from the perspective of the round where they were drafted since there were more picks per round. Jeff Green is the biggest riser from last year to this year while KG fell the most. I still like the KG pick for both years but I expect that his value will drop significantly season to season over the last years of his career. Stuckey, on the other hand, is my washout pick. Lots of young talent like Beal, Waiters, Kanter, and Bledsoe rose significantly and even a few vets jumped up a meaningful number of picks like Martin and Kaman.
