From Ajc - @ajchawks: Hawks close to adding five investors to ownership group. In NBA approval process. Story to come. #ATLHawks.What's everyone thoughts about this? Anyone know how many investors are in the ownership at the moment?

Oh boy this thread is gonna turn ugly. I think we have 4 or 5 now. Hopefully this is good news but it's hard to see 4-5 guys needing so much money that they take on 5 more investors as a good thing.

According to NBA "accounting" the Hawks lose money and are near the bottom of the NBA standings in value. Wonder what it costs to buy a few Hawks stocks...

I saw a few of them at the game this week. I'm pretty sure y'all will know who they are. They are well known figures and they are adding diversity to the group.

So basically ASG put up a donation button on the Hawks webpage and 5 Hawks fans donated anywhere from $5-$50. That is basically what this is sounding like to me.

...or it could be "Local prostitutes buy shares in the Hawks". Leader of the group "Big Mama Wanda" said to reporters "Them ASG fellas can't bring in free agents but me and the girls can."

One of the investors...noted local girl (and former gymnast) Kim Su Suk said..."We needa this kind of visribility...go Hawks!"
