Atlanta Braves right-hander Kris Medlen underwent an MRI exam Monday that revealed an "injury to the ligament" in his pitching elbow, according to general manager Frank Wren.

Lets hope Minor, Julio, and Wood can step up. I hope Beachy fully recovers and is ready to go by the time season starts. I guess Garcia will be starting until Floyd is ready? Word is we might try and sign Santana, but Im not sure how I feel about that knowing hes around 14 mil for a year, giving up this years pick, and really inconsistent. Well Damn. I saw Uggla hit a moon shot, hopefully he can pick up the slack whereas everyone picked up the slack for him and Upton last year, although I'm not holding my breath. We probably have young arms stashed away ready to shine just like Medlen, Beachy, and Minor did, so I'm not sweating it too tough. McDowell will make the best out of what we have for sure. I should know this, but do we still have Venters and is he ready to go?

Well they got Santana sign on a 1-year deal. They will lose their 1st round pick. Braves did pick up a 1st just a few spots down with the McCann signing.
