KJ McDaniels

Everyone seems to have blinders on for a wing.

KJ McDaniels is guy not mentioned here but should be. He was a 1 man team at Clemson and is probably the best wing defender in the draft.

Ask Jabari Parker how good he is.

I'm on his bandwagon. He's not especially quick (at least I think), but man can he jump out the gym. Worse case scenario, he's Tony Allen. If we get him, I'm sure we can work on his offensive game just like we improved Carroll's. He's got elite 2-way potential.

In some mocks he's at the top of the second round. That would be a steal. But I've heard pundits of the draft say there are so many guys who have declared..........some will not be drafted. I'd like to see us trade up into the top of the second to get someone like him.

I hate that I paid so much attention to combine and Zach Lavine has piqued my intestest. That said, I stll like K.J. He compares himself to Paul George. I hope he can become that good.

Zach Lavine is JR Smith. No thanks. I'd rather have Young, McDermott, Saric, or Hood at 15. McDermott is the most NBA-ready player in the draft and the best shooter and Danny loves shooters.

I like McDermott too. I'm more interested in what he can do......not so much what he can't.

I can't see any plausible scenerio of him being there at 15 though.

He is a bigger Kyle Korver and from the same Alda Mater nonetheless. No one complains about KK lack of athleticism. I just keep imagining KK and McDermott on the floor at the same time shooting teams to death.

McDermott is an NBA athlete from his combine numbers. He's going to surprise a lot of his doubters.

This kid is balling out in Philly........of course minutes and structured play are non issues for him there. A lot of posters were questioning why I had him rated in the top 15 for last years draft.

Lavine is nothing like JR Smith, i've watched his games and he has a great understanding of the game for a 19 year old. Just needs to build muscle so he can finish through contact better. Terrible comparison.
