This current roster has more potential to not even make the playoffs than winning the East, at full health. Even then, if Horford or even Korver (who is our only consistent scoring option at the wing positions) goes down for the season, we are screwed.

If Wall and Beal or Lance and Kemba or pick any two starters from any team goes down they're screwed.

this team isn't going to trade horf or sap.  who knows what they are going to do with their cap space.  i think that the team has 10 guys they aren't going to trade right now.  as for pickups, maybe marion or turner?

River boat gambler!  Ferry isn't like that by the way!  He is methodical in his approach now.  He'll again have plenty of money available next off season so we'll see what happens

 

I can't imagine anyone having confidence that this is a good course of action for us anymore, considering the past 2 years.  Plus there aren't many impact free agents next offseason so having a lot of money may not matter much.  I see Gasol, Klay Thompson (restricted) if he's not traded/re-signed, who else?

 

Only Duke guy I see out there is Henderson and you know Ferry's gonna talk to him.

It's debatable.  When you factor in health it tilts the argument to Millsap.
