Gray Mule
Old things are passed away. Behold, all things are new. With our former manager here, Braves had no power hitting. Couldn't buy a 4 bagger. Look at them now! Three last night alone. Before, they couldn't play defense. Made a lot of errors, all, it seemed, at the wrong time. Now, the Braves have outstanding defense. Before, hitting and pitching and timely hitting didn't happen at the same time. Pitch a great game and score very little. Score a lot and get no pitching or defense. Last night, Braves won by a 7-1 score. Something smells bad. In fact, terribly bad. Gonzales didn't cause all these problems that suddenly got better. Ah, well. Enjoy it while it lasts. Maybe, just maybe we've turned the corner and things will be better.
Moderators macdaddy Posted June 1, 2016 Moderators Report Share Posted June 1, 2016 So looking at the all star ballot, every Braves player is batting sub-.250 except Freddie at .251 and all but 2 are sub .220. Pathetic. It's embarrassing. We have 2 or 3 on the all star ballot batting around .180. Good thing Fredi is gone! He really caused these guys to be pathetic hitters.
