Considering that you most likely trade splitter in that Scenario ($8.5)   - Net $15.5 for Dwight as an off the bench player getting starter minutes, I'm ok with.  I would not be ok with Dwight w/o Al and starting.  I believe coming off the bench will keep him healthy longer during the season.

Yeah, that is such an easy thing to do that teams are willing to pay Baze up to $20M.

Supply and demand. If Baze couldn't supply, then other teams wouldn't be demanding to sign him. If it were so easy to "pluck" someone else, no team would be offering him that money.
