Letting Maddux walk was one of the worst recent Atlanta sports decisions.   I understand the money issues behind it.   But they begged Glavine and Smoltz to stay and take what was way more than what they were worth but those two were too arrogant to accept that they were declining.     Maddux they didn't even offer a contract.   He is the one that would have been reasonable and he was the one who is a top 5 pitcher of the last 30 years.   You want to keep that guy around.   So he pees on a few rookies.   We're talking HoF'r here.

I heard on the radio them talking about the book, and Sandra Golden was talking about how gross Maddux was, so I'll probably jump to that part, but listening to the interview felt a little like a long ass Driven episode.
