It amazes me how people fail to recognize, despite his warts, Trae is the perennial all-nba caliber player we've been wanting and needing for basically 2 decades.

It also seems strange how people can't seem to interpret fanhood.  Just because you're a fan of the guy doesn't mean you don't acknowledge his shortcomings.  People seem to feel the need to derail any positive comments with, "Bwah, you jussa fan, cain'tchu see he cain't play defense?!?!"

I mean, sure but that doesn't mean he's trash.  People are stupid.  Hiatus continues .....

And we watch Trae's every minute of basketball.   Do that with any player and you'll see their shortcomings.

Maybe posted in the wrong thread, but that's OK... ALL FACTS.

I'm a fan of Trae.  I know his weakness is defense.   Just like I know Superman's weakness is the red sun.  Just like I know Wolverine's weakness is Magneto.  Just like I know Prince Namor's weakness is dehydration.  Just like I know Tony Stark's weakness is lack of self control.   Just like I know Batman's weakness is "He ain't got no powers".

Every player has weaknesses and their fans know them.  That doesn't mean that Trae didn't lead the league in points and assists.   That doesn't mean that he isn't a top rated player.

Familiarity breeds major contempt, especially among Hawk fans.

Plus everytime I get down about our record and how many missed opportunities we've had, I just look at the standings.  There are only 3-4 teams that aren't in the same boat.

I venture to say my misgivings are indeed posted in the right thread.  This thread simply celebrates a pretty dope mag cover and story.  We always enjoy when the team, city, etc. get national pub as it happens too rarely.

It was in no way some suggestion that all is 100% well with us or that the duo should be starting the all-star game or something. 

But 'les miserables' just had to swoop in and try and put a stop to some well-meaning, totally innocuous positivity.  What are they afraid of?  That somebody would *gulp* enjoy a brief read on the site?  Smh, these guys.  Never change, les mis.
