I'm catching up on some of these interviews, but I do not envy Landry's (and all GMs) balancing act to roster questions and trade speculation, etc.  Gotta be tough to be as transparent as possible, while being honest and direct, and not saying anything that singles out players or upsets feelings.  The focus is clearly on getting everyone bought in to the system and then adjusting later.  Based on these interviews, we probably made very modest offers this offseason for Siakam and whoever else.  We're not acting desperate in talks which I appreciate.

Im very excited about the Vet leadership of Mills and Matthews. Probably the biggest drop off for us since the ECF run was losing seasoned vets and relying on younger vets like CC, JC and Murray to lead.

Experience plays a huge factor. Bogi is no longer the oldest voice in the room, which makes a big difference.
