KB21
http://www.draftcity.com/andrisbiedrins.htm The win tonight definitely knocks us out of the bottom three, so we are looking at the 4th or 5th worst record, which puts up at the 5th or 6th pick record wise. I believe that unless Smith falls to them, the Hawks will draft big in this draft. The guy they could look at with the 5th or 6th pick is 6-11, 240 lbs power forward Andris Biedrins. Gray Mule
Chances of draft position rely on the chances in the draft, the more losses, the better the odds. However, there is no guarantee as to where Hawks will draft. We will go up or down with the odds changing with every pick. Then, there is the chance that Hawks will enter the draft and trade players and/or draft choices to move up or down in the draft. Evaluation of current players, both those under contract for next season and those who will be free agents also enter into the equasion. We now have new people now. They are looking at all these things right now and some of the things that they see will help determine who will be here next season and who will not. Plainview1981
Trade the pick. The heck with this guy...Whatever his name is. Funny, the Hawks trade all their players to lose and can't even do that correctly. Shame Shame on the Hawks. THey can't do anything right.

Premium Member Diesel Posted April 12, 2004 Premium Member Report Share Posted April 12, 2004 Tiago Spittter. I think Tiago is better than any of these other Europlayers.
CBAreject
"However, there is no guarantee as to where Hawks will draft. We will go up or down with the odds changing with every pick." I don't know exactly what that means, but I think you're saying, 'We cannot be certain where we will pick.' I think we all understand that, as this point has been belabored. Yes, it is a lottery, and no team's position is set. We've gone over this. I think some people have used this as a reason to harp at those who want the team to lose out. At any rate, those who wanted a couple of cheap wins have gotten them, and our chances at a top pick have vanished. Maybe we still draft 1-3. It might still happen. However, the chances have gone from near 50% to something like 10%. If you were playing Russian Roulette which one would you choose, mule?
JTFan31
Yea I like Splitter my self also Diesel, but the question is he really a 5th or 6th pick? Maybe not, but we will just have to wait till draft day approaches and we will see players stock rise and stock drop.
