mdawg
I would say Piladelphia is my favorite, because I think it's the best overall film. But Courage Under Fire is a very underated movie. His best performance is in Malcom X.

Premium Member Diesel Posted June 6, 2004 Author Premium Member Report Share Posted June 6, 2004 X was a very good performance. I think he showed that he had range there... But the range wasn't completely shown until Training Day. He was a guy who had been type casted as such a do good type of Guy his whole career... From Philadelphia to Crimson Tide to John Q... Do good. However, in training Day he showed that he can be just as bad of a bad guy as you ever want to see him be! Strangely enough, I liked him as a bad guy. He was so convincing, I thought it fit. That's acting. What I like about X was that he was able to go from Thug to religous zealot. It was a good piece of acting. In he got game, he played the role very well. I think there's no denying that he's a very good actor. However, best movie... I really like Crimson Tide but Training day by a hair.
