Gas Prices

Im now living in KY and gas here is around $3.09 and it is expected to keep going up ($4.00+ a gal) what is it like where you are?

but I have heard other places in Houston is up to $3.30 for Premium.

I also heard that places in California and Georgia are up over $4.00 already. This is just insane.

It's $3.30 for premium here in Columbus, GA. I filled up Sunday before everything got (relatively) crazy.

I drove past two stations that were at $3.29 (and another one that had stopped posting the price since it was changing so rapidly) to get to a $2.96/gallon station, which only had regular left.

I'm in the northern suburbs on Atlanta, BTW...

a few places in Ga, jumped up to $4.00 for a few hours and then they went back down to around $3.00. Which is where they're hovering aorund here. The highest I've seen it is about $3.39 for premium.

Compared to the rest of the world, we've had it easy for a long time on gas prices. If people really want it to change they need to smack the tree huggers around and let us start refining our own fuel again and stop depending on everyone else to make it for us.

The gas prices aren't a big deal to me. The situation in New Orleans is more important.
