  1. I agree. It looks like he is going through the motions and not fully committed. Just cut the cord now and move on. And his son as assistant should go too.
  2. If we are trading Young, i can forsee two deals where I think the deal can make some sense to the franchise. Both of them involve bringing an all star or potential all star home. Young to Minnesota for Ant Edwards and DeAngelo Russell. OR Young to Boston for Jaylen Brown and Derrick White. Holiday Bros would potentially go the other way to even up salaries. When you are trading the face of the franchise you need to bring in someone to replace him both on court and from a marketing poimt of view. That's why it make sense to target hometown stars like Brown or Edwards. Ant Man would be my number 1 preference but not sure Minnesota would be willing to deal him so soon. Brown is possibly more gettable.
  3. Understand that but its still bad. I would of rather gone with a 13 man roster and even if that includes a couple of cheap G league players if the direction was to save tax.
  4. Good decision. Didn't rate Schlenk and his legacy will forever be tarnished by trading Luka Doncic. However Landry Fields is off to a terrible start in his GM career. The Kevin Huerter trade is horrible. And both of Schlenk/Fields can't seem to find a suitable trade for John Collins for past 2-3 years.

    Trae

They are both to blame. Nate's ultimatum is incredibly dumb. I get that your frustrated that your star player isn't ready to go against Denver but to suggest he completely stays away from the arena is so so stupid. I don't get this point at all. What is he trying to prove with this powerplay? And Trae should of not taken Nate's comments so literally. He should of still showed up, sat on the bench and supported the team. If Nate still orders him out of the arena, after Trae's shows up. Then McMillian clearly has to go.
  6. They are trash. Especially Justin. We need to play Griffin ahead of Justin. When is Bogi back to take Aaron's minutes?
  7. He's a good shooter for his size. I actually think he would be useful on the roster as a third string PF/C backup, assuming Jalen Johnson takes Danillo's minutes.
  8. This is done purely to free up the #5 jersey for Dejounte
  9. I feel like Bogi has already embraced the role off the bench and be the go to guy for the 2nd unit.
  10. Probably one first round pick too many. But it did allow us to keep Collins, so we are a better team because of it.
  11. Is he big enough to play as a 4? JC's backup.
  12. Where's the none of the above option? I don't think he is valuable on the floor because this team is not a playoff team and I think we would be far better off giving his minutes to Jalen Johnson. He's not valuable in a trade because no team is willing to want to trade for him. He might have some use as a salary filler for a bigger trade, such as a swap of Collins for Ben Simmons if 76ers insist on attaching Harris to the deal. 76ers would have no option but to take back Gallo as part of the deal.
  13. No, but we already have a player on our team that can replace Gallo's minutes. His name is Jalen Johnson.
  14. Time to make a deal Schlenk. The roster is flawed, we need defensive players. See what Philly wants for Simmons and/or Thybulle. See what Boston wants for Smart. Gallinari needs to go. Trade Reddish while his value is relatively high. Do not be afraid to trade Hunter if we can get an impact player in return. In fact all players except Trae should be on the trade table.
  15. Agree. He's been a huge bust. Lucky he is in the last year of his contract. Won't be re-signed.
  16. Trade for Ben Simmons and Matisse Thybulle. I'll happilly give up Reddish, Gallinari, Wright.
  17. Depth chart 1. Young, Wright, Williams, Cooper 2. Bogdanovic, Huerter, TLC, Mays 3. Hunter, Reddish, Hill 4. Collins, Gallinari, Johnson 5. Capela, Dieng, Okongwu
  18. I’ll be on board in bringing Simmons to Atlanta. It’s interesting that Atlanta has a couple of Philly natives in Hunter and Reddish that could be used as a swap. My deal would be as follows: To ATL: Simmons, Maxey To PHI: Hunter, Gallinari, Wright Basically it’s a swap of Hunter for Simmons and Gallinari and Wright are included for cap reasons. And with Wright on traded, we insist on Maxey as part of the deal to backup Trae Young. We do lose a pretty good veteran in Gallinari, but it will allows us to give more minutes to Jalen Johnson, which I want to do after watching him in the Summer League. SF: Simmons / Reddish / TLC PF: Collins / Johnson / Hill C : Capela / Dieng / Okongwu PG: Young / Maxey / Williams SG: Bogdanovic / Huerter / Mays
  19. I think we need someone who can play the 5 due to Okongwu injury. if he has any setbacks then we are just left with Capella and Dieng. Millsap would of been good instead of Solo Hill. But given they brought Hill back, Millsap is kind of redundant, even though he is a better player than Hill.
