Hilarious. The way Melo goes off against us he may be right but this year's hawks seem different. I know there are plenty around here who like Woody but embarrasing loses against top teams was what i hated the most about his coaching. Go Hawks!

Trade Uggla for something. I wouldn't trade for Philips or I think we're back where we started. I'd go young a second. If we get just middling production from a second baseman that's way ahead of Uggla. We just need a solid contact hitter and good fielder. The team will sink or swim on the productions for Uptons, heyward and freddie.

Cartier had a bad shooting game but his defense has been good. He just happens to play the position in our offense that requires you knock down 3s. With his effort and defense if he was a lights out shooter we wouldn't have been able to pick him up off waivers.

Dude its been 5 games. If we don't have it clicking on all cylinders by now it ain't happening. You don't see teams who 'get it' like the Rockets getting punked by crappy teams like the Lakers. I mean they have two superstars AND two legit centers.

Antić still isn't comfortable out there on the offensive end but seems like he is getting better. I'm hoping he can provide good backup minutes off the bench for our bigs. Right now there is just too much on Teague, Milsap, Horf. The rest of the guys are good players but can't be counted on night in and night out.

Yes. If we wanted something for Teague then we had to match his offer. Dennis is great and he looks good so far but there is no guarantee that he will exceed Teague.

I wish we still had Zaza but he did get a pretty nice contract if i remember right. 3 years? Still, he wanted to be here, he was always solid, and was an offensive rebounding machine. I don't know if he's the answer for a starting center next to horf or not. Maybe one day we can bring him home. What i do know is Zaza should never have to buy a beer, or Courvoisier, in this town for the rest of his life.

This is strange. So we are the shortest team in the league? And the Mavs are second shortest? I wouldn't have guessed that. Still i'm suprised by the BMI. Who on the Hawks is carrying a lot of weight for their frame? I can't think of anyone other than Antić or maybe Brand.
