Tornado in ATL

Just heard a portion of the roof was ripped off Philips.

Problem with tornados is - VERY little warning. (compared to hurricanes that is).

The Clippers announcers made a joke about how this might be the first outdoor regular season game in a LONG time.

But yeah, I hope everybody's safe downtown. Tornadoes are no joke.

there was a tornado here some years back.it's not even raining or anything like earlier.

It was Bama and Miss St. My boys the Tide, had choked again and were saved by a tornado. Down 3. Tim Brando says this may have never happened before in major college basketball. They say there is another storm coming later.

Alonzo Gee has been waiting to shoot two critical free throws for an hour! Talk about icing.

Surprised it didn't hit Phillips with the luck we've had.

LOTS of hail out here. I live out here in Cedartown now and the hail sounded really loud. I'm not really going to look and see if there is any damage until it gets daylight. I doubt it is anything compared to what happened in ATL though.

Oh, it did.

There's a hole in the roof above Section 307. I was down in the lower level when I began to feel a strong breeze. Looked up to see a few small pieces of the roof floating down. It didn't affect the game on the floor, I assume that's why they finished.

A scary situation. The area outside the arena was littered with debris. Thankfully, it appears injuries are very limited.
