BigDirty
It's currently halftime. The game also features ex-Yellow Jacket Will Bynum & everyones favourite ex-Hawk Esteban Batista, plus a lot of other ex-NBA players and some guys who might play in the NBA one day. Premium Member hawkman Posted May 4, 2008 Premium Member Report Share Posted May 4, 2008 I'm watching right now. It's officially the offseason, so it's a great time to scout out our future center. Good to see Bynum playing ball somewhere.

Premium Member hawkman Posted May 4, 2008 Premium Member Report Share Posted May 4, 2008 Andersen ain't half bad. He does seem more like an offensive center though. But to be completely honest, scoring in the post has been a major weakness for us. If his post game translates to the NBA, he could be a valuable asset. exodus
Batista got the ball in the post, faced up, and deliberated popped the guy guarding him in the face with the ball. That was cool!
leftwich
Trajan Langdon's out there, too. Andersen just drained a 3 but then got subbed out for a breather. His current coach must be trying to get him adjusted to Woody ball in advance.
Zone034life
He looks good enough to replace pachulia next season but we all know the NBA is another level of speed and physicality than overseas.
Rick
Papaloukas is out there too. Number 4 for CSKA. There was alot of talk in the pre-season about the possibility of bringing him in here too.

Premium Member mrhonline Posted May 4, 2008 Premium Member Report Share Posted May 4, 2008 Bringing in Andersen allows the Hawks to S&T Childress with Zaza for a veteran wing with range. For example, Childress+Zaza -for- Maggette.
bumpyphish1
I think Adam Sandler's "Zhotan" character might be one of the announcers in this game....
BusBoyIsBack
We drafted that guy like 6 years ago. Is he actually OFFICIALLY scheduled to come play for us next season?
Joker
To the guy that said replace Zaza. Zaza is our toughness player, not a chance... He too valuable to our bench. I want this guy in Atlanta but only for depth.

You can send him out to get the stars of the other team get suspended though.

His contract is up and BK said at the town hall meeting that they planned to bring him over. Sekou reported this also.
DrReality
His game reminds me of Jason Collier. Not a true center but one that plays from the outside in.
