Marvin was the only player with a positive (+3) last night. Everyone was in the negative with Crawford (-22). Marvin has been god awful this season but not last night. Our backcourt is getting exposed. Opposing guards have been killing us recently. It hasn't been opposing centers, hasn't been forwards. It has been the opposing guards. Mo Williams and Delonte West killed us last night. It has been our backcourt that is getting exposed. Crawford is JJ jr. If Bibby isn't hitting wide open 3's he has no use for us. Maybe JJ was tired in the 4th. Why not give Teague some minutes?? These are the kind of things Woody needs to work on and he wonders why he hasn't gotten an extension despite that good start. Even when we win you can see flaws in his coaching that you just know the better teams will exploit.

We were outrebounded by 13 rebounds.

Last night, we didn't get beat because we couldn't stop them from scoring... No No.

We got beat because in the 4th quarter, we couldn't score.

If we don't go scoreless for 10 freaking minutes, either we would have won or the game would have been very close.

However, we went scoreless for most of the 4th and you're crying about defensive breakdowns...

Wu... I know you're hear on Marvin's behalf, but the truth is that we didn't get enough offense... That starts with rebounds. It ends with finished baskets.

Dolonte West and Mo Williams were just their scorers last night. Somebody had to score. The thing is that we didn't score when it was needed.

Teague doesn't know how to set up the offense. He looks like Acie Law when the game gets into a halfcourt set. Yeah he gets you steals and will contest fastbreak layups by the other team but he seems to have lost confidence in his jumpshot. To be honest, even though Jamal makes shots, the ball moves less around the perimeter when he is in. To me Bibby does a better job of setting up the play even though he is a terrible defender. The problem is all 3 pgs have flaws: Bibby is a bad defender, Jamal doesn't move the ball enough, Teague doesn't know how to run an offense & can't hit an open jump shot.

People like Teague, only because he's the newest guy on the team. When you watch him, he's obviously lost out there. That's why Woody doesn't trust to play him when the game is tight, and especially if we're behind. We're much better off going with Bibby and Crawford, and letting Teague sit and learn . . or play him when we have a safe enough lead.

It's amazing how people are trying to diagnose what's wrong with this team.

Like Diesel said the story of the game was the Hawks didn't score a freaking basket for almost 9 minutes of gametime.

You KNOW that's why we lost when even ESPN shows us missing shots to paint the story of why we lost the game. Usually they show the other team missing shots to take credit away from our win. Or at least they used to before they had any respect for us.

The story of the game was that drought in the 4th quarter period. Not any defensive struggle, it was an offensive struggle.

Granted, Marvin has been bad this year, but you have to acknowledge the man was absolutely an impact player on the defensive end last night. You always find a way to minimize or just flat out ignore anything the guy does well.

If Marvin doesn't do what he did on Lebron then that game is even uglier.

What did we get Collins for?? Woodson talked about Collins in the off season like he was gonna be used against teams like Cavs and Magic who are simply just too big for Horford to handle. We all know Collins cant score and isnt flashy at all but he will put a body on a man and box him and and get rebounds. Woody has to play Collins tonite. Horford is a PF playing against a 7 foot, 350 lb center in Shaq and 7'3 Illguaskas. Collins is our only 7 footer and is damn near 300 lbs himself. Put him in. Its a no brainer..we lose to Magic and Cleveland all the time for the same reason. Gimme Boston b4 anyone of these teams unless we're gonna use our biggest guy..he will make a difference on defense and rebounding

true. I thought Bibby sat too much in the game last night. He was off but he still makes us go. we had no true PG out there for most of the 4th. not even Teague

What game were people ? The problem was that at the start of the 4th we never actually went to the only guy on the team who has his offense going . Those first 4-5 minutes of the 4th we never went Crawford who had it going we forced the ball into the Zaza and AL and they either missed open shots or turned it over . Crawford had scored 7 of our last 12 points in the 3rd and assisted on another 2 but to start the 4th he was at the point bringing it to Joe or dumping it inside when we should have put Joe at the point and had him feed Crawford and we run pick and roll which was working from that position.

We have to learn how to milk matchups until teams can stop it . They started doubling Crawford on pick and rolls way out by the 3 point line that helps us against there size inside but instead we chose to go straight at them and failed .

Our rebounding was terrible if your shot is not falling then you should be going hard to the defensive glass everytime . Cleveland is a slow team at the 4-5 alot of times they just throw there bodies on your 4-5 and let Lebron or there guards just swop in to get the board .

To me Teague is a more athletic version of Rajon Rondo. Rondo has no jumpshot either but he knows how to use his length in order to get shots in the lane. That is what Teague needs to do, penetrate and dish. I wish we could trade Bibby and Marvin for a Big and force Woody to start Teague.

Teague is a more athletic version of Rondo?? really?? i dont see a comparison..Teague can hit 3s and he isnt the defenser or passer Rondo it but their both quick and athletic. Teague is more like louis williams on the Sixers IMO

We are talking about Ball movement, the ball doesn't move from oneside to the next when the are the pointguards.
