RealGM articles are a joke. Basically they are written by posters/mods.

If you read the article his reasoning for the low grade makes no sense.

Yea, he basically said that the Hawks did improve overall but still gave them a D+.... Then he gives Washington a B+ for saving cap space, but only if Bibby opts out and goes somewhere else.... I'm lost.

I dont see how you can grade the trade until we see Hinrich play with the team . If we win 15 in a row with Hinrich and take over the top spot would the trades grade still be a D ?

I give the trade a B+ so that's all that matters to me. Really glad the Hawks made a move, for the better. Hopefully we can make another before the deadline!

I like the trade. Truth is we really needed to get rid of Bibby's contract because the guy was giving us vet minimun type of play at 6 million a year. Obviously I would have been happier not trading away the pick, but still a solid trade at least on first impression.

That's fair because the only reason it's not and F is because you don't know how Hinrich will fit in. He might give you 15 pts and 5 assists. If he does that the grade will be a C, until Jordan shows that he is atleast as good as Flip next year and the Hawks are left without a scorer off the bench, it will then go back to the D.
